What Makes Mobile Shredding So Convenient?

MOBILE SHREDDING SERVICES AVAILABLE IN MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE

Mobile shredding is a fast, convenient, and secure service that helps improve your business’s security compliance while reducing paper waste. Mobile on-site shredding will also streamline your office document management workflow. Here are some of the benefits of starting a routine mobile shredding program at your place of work:

Mobile Shredding is Secure

The mobile shredding process allows you the opportunity to witness your documents being destroyed for added peace of mind. To ensure ultimate security and professionalism, our shredding collection bins are locked, labeled, uniform, and clean. Shredding On Site mobile shredding operators are highly trained, experienced, friendly, and always in uniform with ID badges. We perform background checks (10-year history), security and compliance training, and random drug testing on employees with access to confidential information.

To ensure further security for your files during our NAID AAA-Certified Document Destruction process, the locked shredding bins will always remain in the custody of our shredding operators. The bins are emptied directly into the industrial shredder on our shredding truck and then destroyed within just a few moments.

At the end of the process, we provide a Certificate of Destruction, outlining details of the job including date, time, and type of work completed. We then replace the empty bins in your office for your employees to refill until the next scheduled shredding service date, which typically occur in four week intervals.

Mobile Shredding Can Reduce Paper Waste & Improve Recycling

With the advancement of technology, the majority of businesses are transitioning to paperless offices. However, this can be a long process, and few companies end up being completely paper-free. In fact, a recent estimate found that in the U.S, offices still use close to 12.1 trillion sheets of paper annually. That works out to nearly 10,000 sheets for each employee, per year!  By depositing unneeded or outdated paperwork in Shredding On Site locked shredding bins, you will divert that paper waste from flowing into the waste stream.  Not only do we securely shred all paperwork contained in the bins, but we also bale and recycle 100% of the shredded paper product.

Mobile Shredding Provides Convenience

How will a mobile shredding service be convenient for your business? At Shredding On Site, our team of professionals will install locked shred bins at key points around your company’s building, deliberately placed for easy access in high paper use areas. After installation, your employees are able to start filling the bins daily with files and documents that require secure destruction or are just no longer needed and are taking up space around the office.

We recommend a Shred Everything Policy – meaning all paper waste should be placed in secure shredding bins for destruction rather than sorting confidential versus non-confidential material, which will reduce potential data security breaches and improve compliance controls.

Mobile Shredding is Easy and Comprehensive

In addition to Standard Office Paper, your team can dispose of a variety of other common office materials in the shred bins. These items may include file folders, envelopes, notepads, sticky notes, and more!  There’s also no need to remove staples or paperclips, which are no problem for our industrial shredding machines.

Additionally, Shredding On Site can schedule destruction service for other non-paper material, such as microfilm/microfiche, compact discs, micro media storage, hard drives and other e-media storage devices, video tapes, and backup data tapes.  Just let us know ahead of time and we will schedule a specialized service date to securely destroy these materials.
