Position: Senior Manager of Logistics
Reports to: Vice President, Operations
Purpose:
The Senior Manager of Logistics will direct and manage fleet activity and destruction/baling functions of Records Management Center (RMC) and Shredding On Site (SOS) to drive results through extraordinary service and secure destruction solutions to customers. This leader will actively manage the transportation and destruction/baling workforce; oversee execution of routing and customer service objectives; maintain fleet and equipment uptime through proper maintenance planning; uphold safety, security, and regulatory compliance; and clearly communicate and execute team goals and objectives. This role is responsible for security and confidentiality controls and certifications, primarily related to standards established by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID).

Responsibilities:
Oversee the vehicle fleet, destruction/baling operations, and related staff and account management functions through team leaders and supervisors, including proactive planning and routing, problem resolution, recruiting, client communications, and employee training; Drive Continuous Improvement in the areas of quality, productivity, safety, security, and controls to meet increasing customer demands;
Direct oversight of transportation operations to ensure extraordinary customer service, and achieve operational and quality targets;
Oversee and execute route planning, preparation, and drive results through the Scheduling/Dispatch Teams.
Continuously monitor, review, analyze route, vehicle, and manpower metrics and efficiencies and affect changes as appropriate;
Management of fleet and shredding profit and loss as indicated in KPIs, destruction and courier client satisfaction and retention, accounts receivable and collection oversight, and purchases and vendor relationships;
Overall responsibility for on-going recruiting, hiring, coaching, counseling, motivating, training and development of fleet and destruction operations team members; responsible for efficient allocation and utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources;
Responsible for team member safety and upkeep and maintenance of fleet, destruction/baling facilities, and related equipment;
Ensure fleet, facilities, staff, and operational procedures pass NAID audit processes to protect customers’ sensitive information and uphold vehicle and plant security;
Assist senior leadership and sales team to proactively manage and maintain relationships with existing key accounts, including identifying opportunities for additional sales growth;
Inspire others to demonstrate supportive leadership, safety mindset, customer service excellence, and integrity.

Salary: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
